THE NORTH  BAY PANTHERS ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING SOMEONE INTERESTED IN RUNNING OUR TRACK and field PROGRAM.  PLEASE EMAIL US AT NORTHBAYPANTHERS@GMAIL.COM FOR MORE INFORMATION.

Welcome to the NBYSO Track and Field Page. We are glad you are interested in our program. Please know that we do not measure our success in size, but through the educational, social and travel experiences the athletes will gain each season. Our goal is to assist young people ages 5-18 who are interested in improving their physical fitness, mental stamina, and teamwork skills through organized track and field competition while developing their confidence and self image.

We were founded on fundamental values of integrity and continue to promote a family oriented and welcoming environment.

We do not promote the recruitment of athletes and rather participants find our mission complimentary to their core values and objectives.

We do not market our programs as an elite track and field club which only seeks to recruit top ranked athletes or supplementary training for other sports.

We do not market ourselves as an affiliate of any professional or retired track and field athlete(s).

We do not market ourselves as a specialty club.

We accept candidates regardless of their skill level and offer training in track and field events (barring we have the resources all except pole vault).

Training programs are developed by the respective coaching staff and focus' on development of track and field fundamentals.

There are No Try Outs. Youth are welcomed to learn the sport and the many events it has to offer.

VOLUNTEERS
We are always in need of volunteers to assist with the program. All coaching is done on a volunteer basis as such there is no monetary compensation however; we do have minimum requirements for volunteers which are indicated below. There is an application process and all documents must be completed to confirm affiliation with the organization. Any misrepresentation of affiliation is prohibited. One stipulation when volunteering as a parent is your willingness to be assigned to an age division other than that which you have a participating child should there be a need in another area. While support is encouraged from parents we want all children to be provided fair and equal training without bias. If you are interested in volunteering your time please contact us and a representative will contact you within 48hrs:pr@northbaypanthers.com.

SAFETY
Your child’s safety is our highest priority. The following safety measures will be followed at all
times:

CONDITIONING

Conditioning exercises will be part of each practice, to ensure children are able to keep up with
the rigors of their sport, particularly the first two weeks of official practice. If your child is not
typically active outdoors, they will be diminishing their ability to be successful. Although NBP
is cautious not to overwork athletes, certain levels of conditioning must take place in order for
athletes to sustain the physical rigors of track and field. Please ensure that your child drinks plenty
of water throughout the day. If you have any questions, please see your coach or a board member.
